Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
Job duties:
- Measure, cut, shape, and join materials like wood, wood alternatives, and light steel, as well as other construction materials.
- Install and fit windows, doors, stairs, trim, and hardware with precision.
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and renovations on homes and wooden structures found in various other facilities.
- Participate in various carpentry tasks, including framing, constructing structures, and finishing work.
- Gain experience in the safe operation and upkeep of both hand tools and power tools.
- Assist experienced carpenters with tasks such as electrical work, heavy lifting, masonry, construction painting, roof repairs, plumbing, concrete forming, and additional projects.
