STL Facilities Maintenance now hiring CARPENTERS to join our busy team.

Requirements:

• Ideal candidate has at least three years of experience as a carpenter
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Steel-toed safety shoes/boots required
• Valid driver’s license to get to various locations/commercial properties.
• Good physical stamina and abilities.
• Team player, willing to commit to busy, large workload.

Main responsibilities: 

• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
• Interior and exterior renovations, maintenance and repairs
• Measure, cut and assemble wood materials or wood substitutes/other materials to renovate, upgrade apartment units and interior commercial units
• Fit and install windows and doors by framing opening
• Instal hardware, cabinetry, mouldings, hardwood and laminate flooring
• Build decks, patios, porches from wood and wood substitutes

• Commercial
• Residential

Wages:
Hourly rate offered is $36.00 per hour. This is a full-time (32 – 44 hours per week), year- round position.

Hours of Work:
Flexibility required, some weekend and evening work required as some projects can only be done at that time.
