Description

Whirlpool Contracting Ltd. is looking for a full-time and permanent 1 Drywall Installer in Surrey, BC, V3W 4A8. (Even though this is a full-time position we encourage part time job seekers to apply as well). Salary is 34.62/hr and 30to 40 hours/week.

Job Description:

  • Measure and mark cutting lines on drywall sheets.
  • Cut drywall to the proper size using hand or power tools (utility knives, saws, etc.)
  • Study blueprints or specifications to determine layout and material requirements.
  • Tape joints between panels using drywall tape and joint compound
  • Evenly spread joint compound and ensure a smooth finish; allow it to dry properly
  • Maintain tools and work areas in good condition.
  • Accurately measure, cut, and fit drywall panels before installing them

 

Employment Requirements and Education:

Previous experience is an asset. Completion of High School and experience is required.
