Bakery Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Bakery Supervisor for Cheese Boutique located at 45 Ripley Ave, Toronto, ON M6S 3P2, Canada.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervise daily bakery operations, including production planning, scheduling, and staff coordination to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
Oversee the preparation and baking of artisanal bread, pastries, and specialty baked items that align with Cheese Boutique’s premium standards.
Ensure all bakery products meet quality, freshness, and presentation requirements before reaching retail shelves.
Train, mentor, and evaluate bakery staff to maintain high performance and adherence to traditional and modern baking techniques.
Manage inventory of baking ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed while minimizing waste and controlling costs.
Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations, sanitation protocols, and food handling procedures.
Collaborate with the culinary and retail teams to introduce new baked products that complement Cheese Boutique’s seasonal offerings and customer preferences.
Resolve operational issues promptly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction and smooth workflow in a fast-paced environment.
May perform any other duties as reasonably assigned by the management.

Prerequisites:

Education: Secondary Certificate or equivalent experience

Experience & Skills: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.

Language: English

Hourly Rate: $ 34.07 to $ 37 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent

Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay,
