East & West Alum Craft Ltd. is looking for an Automatic Welding Machine Operator to join our team.
Title: Automatic Welding Machine Operator
Employer: East & West Alum Craft Ltd.
Opening: 3 positions (Permanent, Full-time)
Wage: CAD 32.00 – CAD 36.00 per hour
Working hour: At least 30 hours per week
Benefit: 4% of vacation pay or 10 days of paid vacation, extended benefits after 6 months
Location: 7465 Conway Avenue, Burnaby, BC V5E 2P7
Requirements
- Some secondary school education is required.
- At least a year of experience in related field is an asset
- On-the-job training will be provided
Main Duties:
- Calibrate and set up automated welding equipment in accordance with technical instructions and safety guidelines
- Operate pre-programmed or automated welding machines to join, fabricate, or repair metal components with precision
- Monitor and control automated robotic welding production processes
- Perform routine checks, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of automated welding equipment to ensure optimal operation
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with workplace safety and operational standards
