NU-HANGERS DRYCLEANING LTD is seeking an Administrative Coordinator.
This position is based at our laundry business location. It is a standard 35 hours per week role, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility depending on operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist the Owner and Manager in coordinating daily operations and overall management of the laundry business.
· Collect daily operational records including production logs, customer transactions, inventory lists, and maintenance notes.
· Submit required administrative documents accurately and on time.
· Prepare organized summaries of operational information for the Owner.
· Maintain filing systems for invoices, vendor documents, maintenance logs, and internal forms.
· Create basic spreadsheets to track supplies, expenses, and routine tasks.
· Draft routine notices, memos, and general correspondence.
· Assist with communication between the Owner and laundry staff.
· Schedule meetings or service appointments and record follow-up actions.
· Maintain calendars for supply orders, equipment maintenance, and administrative deadlines.
· Coordinate with suppliers to confirm pricing, place orders, and follow up on delays.
· Track equipment service requests and confirm completion with service providers.
· Assist with job postings, application organization, and interview scheduling.
· Maintain employee files, attendance records, and training documents.
· Prepare onboarding paperwork for new employees
Employment Requirements
Education:
– Completion of secondary school required.
– Post-secondary training in office administration or business is an asset.
Experience:
– 1–2 years of administrative, clerical, or office coordination experience.
– Experience in a small business or service environment is an advantage.
Skills:
– Strong organizational ability and attention to detail.
– Ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks.
– Proficient in Word, Excel, email communication, and file management.
– Effective communication with staff, suppliers, and the Owner.
Other Requirements:
– Valid driver’s licence is preferred but not mandatory.
