About Us:
Shuswap Denture Centre is a professional denture care clinic serving the Salmon Arm community. We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Technician to support our financial and administrative operations.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
Post journal entries and reconcile accounts
Prepare trial balance of books
Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
Prepare and file GST and other government remittances
Prepare invoices, bank deposits, and financial reports
Assist with budgeting and financial monitoring
Perform related clerical and administrative duties
Education and Experience:
Completion of secondary school required
Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field preferred
7 months to less than 1 year of related experience
Computer Skills:
Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel
Experience with accounting software is an asset
Work Environment:
