Building Maintenance Supervisor

Description

Skyward Living Properties Inc. is looking for a Building Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at our apartment/condominium complex in Calgary. This is a full-time, permanent, on-site position, starting as soon as possible.

Job Details

• Location: Calgary, AB T3P 2Y1
• On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
• Wage: $40.00 hourly / 35 hours per week
• Permanent, full-time employment
• Day shift

Responsibilities

• Supervise workers and projects
• Co-ordinate and schedule activities
• Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
• Train or arrange for training
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Recommend personnel actions
• Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
• Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
• Provide technical and professional advice
• Arrange for and oversee maintenance activities
• Coordinate subcontractors’ activities
• Prepare purchase orders
• Establish work schedules and procedures
• Prepare and maintain progress and other reports
• Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality

Supervision

• 3–4 people

Requirements

• Languages: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
• Criminal record check
• Valid driver’s licence
