BH Food Group Limited d.b.a. BH Food Group Limited is located at #1120-950 Seaborne Ave., Port Coquitlam, BC V3B 0R9. We are currently looking for a permanent, full-time Bakery Plant Labourer. If you are interested, please submit your application by e-mail.
Position: Bakery Plant Labourer
Wage: CAD$ 19.19 per hour
Type: Full-time, Permanent (Part-time also available)
Working hours: 30-40 hours per
Benefits: 4% vacation pay
Job Duties:
• Move raw ingredients, finished bakery products, and packaging supplies between production areas and storage facilities, either manually or using powered material-handling equipment;
• Weigh, measure, and transfer ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding equipment or into mobile storage tanks, as required;
• Load ingredients and materials into food-processing machinery and remove processed bakery products from the equipment;
• Place flattened cardboard sheets into box-forming equipment to produce packaging containers;
• Collect filled packages from conveyor lines and manually pack bakery products into bags, boxes, or other containers;
• Clean and sanitize production areas, machinery, tools, and equipment in accordance with workplace procedures;
• Inspect finished bakery products and packaging materials for visible defects and report any quality concerns;
• Assist production control personnel and machine operators with routine production activities and other related tasks.
Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Experience is not required (considered as an asset).
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Language at work: English
