TOUCH OFASIABUFFET ( 101219232 Saskatchewan LTD ) is located in Yorkton, SK. Touch of Asia Buffet operates a buffet-style restaurant specializing in Chinese and Asian-inspired cuisine, along with a selection of Western dishes. The business prepares and serves a variety of hot and cold food items, including meat, seafood, vegetables, rice, noodles, soups, appetizers, sushi,salads, and desserts. Its principal activities include purchasing and storing food ingredients, preparing and cooking meals,maintaining buffet stations, serving dine-in customers, and providing takeout and food delivery services. The restaurant also caters to families, groups, and special occasions by offering a wide selection of dishes in a casual dining environment. As we are getting more customers these days, we are looking for an experienced cook to ensure and maintain a smooth daily operation and high-quality dishes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Prepare and cook dishes 

· Set up buffets

· Update menu and calculate the cost of dishes

· Maintain food and kitchen supplies inventory

· Train and supervise other trainee cooks and kitchen helpers

· Maintain kitchen operations

· Keep the cleanliness of kitchen and the worktable

  

Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of commercial cooking experience, with relevant experience in one or more of the following cuisine specialties:

Cantonese cuisine

Szechuan cuisine

Dim sum preparation

Sushi preparation

Japanese cuisine

Restaurant management experience is an asset.

A cook certificate is an asset.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain an organized and clean kitchen.
