Salary: $21.00 hourly / 45 to 55 hours per week

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time, Early morning, Evening, Morning, Day, Weekend, Overtime required

Starts as soon as possible

Languages: English

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Area of specialization: Dairy cattle

Work setting: Rural area, Public transportation is not available

Job Duties

·         Milk cows

·         Handling animals

·         Monitoring animal health, Detect disease and health problems in livestock, Treat livestock health issues

·         Perform livestock feeding

·         Formulate feeding program, Feed and tend animals

·         Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, Feeding and watering system, Milking system (automated), Tractor, Farm truck, Skidsteer

·         Maintain livestock performance records; Maintain work records and logs

·         Clean barns, barnyards and pens

·         Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed

.        Perform general farm duties
