DeVry Greenhouses (1989) Ltd. is looking to hire 2 greenhouse general labourers to do the following duties:


Job Details:

Location of work: On Site

Salary: $18.25/hiur for 40-55 hours per week

Terms of employment: Contract Full-time 

Start Date: 2027-01-09

End Date: 2029-01-08

Employment Conditions: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekends

Tasks:

  • Clean the crops
  • Greenhouse cleaning
  • Plant bulbs and seeds
  • Pot and repot plants
  • Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
  • Clean the work area

Type of Crops

  • Ferns
  • Perennials
  • Bedding plants
  • Seasonal plants
  • Tropical plants

Job Requirements:

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required

Experience: Experience is an asset

Languages: English

Work Conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-pacedenvironment, Repititve tasks, Physically demanding, Standing forextended periods of time, bending, crouching and kneeling andweight handling upto 23kg (50lbs). 

Personality Suitability: Team player and reliability
