– Hourly Wage: C$37.00 to C$39.00 (depending on experience)
– Working Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
– Job Location: 1‑3715 Laird Rd, Mississauga, ON L5L 0A3
* Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required.

– Testing equipment and methods: Visual inspection, Non-destructive testing
– Area of work experience: Construction
– Vacation: 10 days of paid vacation per year or 4% of gross salary

Job Requirements
 

– Education: College/CEGEP in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) or a related engineering technology
– Experience: 2-3 years of experience in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
– Personal Suitability: Accurate, Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Excellent written communication, Flexibility, Organized, Reliability, Team player
– Language of work: English
– Credentials: CWB Visual 1 certification
– Valid driver's licence
– Criminal Record Check

 

* Knowledge and hands-on experience with Dielectric Testing (DT) will be considered an asset
* High Angle Rescue Training certification will be considered an asset.

 

Job Duties
 

– Inspect welds to verify compliance with applicable standards and/or specifications
– Perform non-destructive examinations to verify material quality and identify potential flaws
– Develop and implement NDI procedures, methods, and calibration requirements
– Define and apply appropriate inspection techniques while ensuring full compliance with safety standards
– Provide training, guidance, and oversight to trainees
– Document, review, and maintain accurate inspection records and test reports
