DeVry Greenhouses (1989) Ltd. is looking to hire 80 greenhouse general labourer to the following duties: 

Job Details: 

Location of work: On Site

Salary: $18.34/hour for 40-55 hours per week. 

Terms of employment: Seasonal Full-time 

Start Date: January 1, 2027

End Date: August 31, 2027

Employment conditions: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekends 

Tasks: 

  • Clean the crops
  • Greenhouse cleaning
  • Plant bulbs and seeds
  • Pot and repot plants 
  • Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns and/ or gardens
  • Clean work area

Type of Crops: 

  • Ferns
  • Perenials
  • Bedding plants
  • Seasonal plants
  • Tropical plants 
  • Vegetables 

Job Requirements: 

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required 

Experience: Experience is an asset 

Lanuageges: English

Work Conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, bending, crouching and kneeling and weight handling up to 23 kg(50lbs). 

Personality Suitability: Team player and reliability
