F/T, Permanent Position (1 Vacancy)
JT Braun Construction is looking for a responsible and reliable carpenter.

Work location: Various locations in BC
**Employer covers the relocation costs.

Wage: $39 per hour
Work hours: 40 hours per week
Benefits: 4% of vacation pay

Job duties and responsibilities:
-Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
-Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
-Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes and other materials
-Build foundation wall, frame walls and floor joist and beam, sheating and lay subflooring
-Fit and install trim items, such as doors, windows, stairs, moulding and hardware
-Window rough opening membrane, rainscreen installation, window installation, window trim and flashing installation, hardie siding installation and waterproofing membrane installation
-Repair and renovate residential and commercial buildings
-Estimate costs and materials
-Supervise other construction workers
Qualification:
(1) Completion of secondary school is usually required.
(2) A minimum of 3 years of working experience as a carpenter is required.
