Job details:

Location of work: 57532 Range Road 254, Sturgeon County, AB, T0G 1L1

Salary: $20.00 hourly / 40 hours per week

Vacancies: 2 Vacancies

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time

Start date: As soon as possible

Employment conditions: Morning, Day, Weekend
Benefits: Free parking available

Tasks:

• Disinfect pens, barns or poultry houses
• Feed and tend animals
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• Maintain quality control and production records
• Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens
• Perform general farm duties
• Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market
• Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops

Work Setting: Rural area, Staff accommodation available, Public transportation is not available

Area of Specialization: Poultry

Job Requirements:

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: Experience an asset

Languages: English
On Site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely
Work site environment: Chicken farming, Dusty, Odours, Poultry and egg production

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently, Work under pressure, Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail, Standing for extended periods, Walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling

Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication, Organized, Reliability, Quick learner
