Description
The Green Star Cafe is located at 102-196 Esplanade Ave., Harrison Hot Springs, BC V0M 1K0. We are currently looking for a permanent, full time Cook. If you are interested, please submit your resume by e-mail or mail.
Position: Cook
Wage: CAD$20.00/hour
Types: Full-time, Permanent (various shifts, including morning, weekends, and holidays)
Working hours: 30~40 hours/week
Benefits: 4% of vacation pay
Job Duties:
• Prepare and cook variety of breakfast and lunch dishes including toasts and waffles, sandwiches, soups, wraps, fried rice dishes and other items in the menu;
• Maintain inventory and records of food;
• Oversee kitchen operation;
• Train kitchen staff and helpers with respect to food preparation.
Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school;
• Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks or completion of college or other program in cooking or 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience required.
• Skills demonstration may be required.
