Bar Manager
New Avenue Hotel is looking for an experienced and motivated Bar Manager to oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure exceptional guest experiences in our bar and lounge. This role demands strong leadership, organizational skills, and a hands-on approach to maintaining high service standards.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and oversee budgets, tracking expenses for beverages, food, and other bar supplies.
• Coordinate and monitor daily bar operations to ensure efficiency and excellent service.
• Hire, train, and lead team members to deliver an outstanding guest experience.
• Organize staff schedules and delegate tasks to maintain smooth shifts.
• Manage cash handling, reconcile balances, and complete financial reports.
• Ensure adherence to liquor laws and provincial licensing requirements.
• Monitor inventory and work with suppliers to restock products and materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
• Address guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Work closely with hotel management to plan and execute promotions or special events.
Qualification
• Completion of Secondary School
• 1-2 years of experience in bar or hospitality management, including supervisory experience, is required.
• Must be fluent in English
• Available to work days, weekends, evenings, and nights.
Wage: $25.00/hour for 40 hours/ week
