Description
Wonowon Lodge operates a remote camp lodge providing accommodation and meal services to workers in the region. We are committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests. We are currently seeking a reliable and customer‑focused Food Counter Attendant to join our team.
Job Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly, efficient service
- Take food and beverage orders and process payments
- Portion, assemble, and serve meals according to lodge standards
- Prepare simple food items (salads, sandwiches, beverages, baked goods)
- Stock refrigerators, shelves, and service stations
- Keep counters, dining areas, and equipment clean and sanitized
- Package take‑out items and assist with meal service during peak times
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures
- Assist kitchen and dining staff as required
Requirements
- No formal education required
- Previous experience in customer service, food service, or cashier roles is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20–30 lbs
- Willingness to work in a remote camp setting (rotation may apply)
Work Conditions
- Remote camp environment
- Meals and accommodation may be provided during shifts
- Shift schedule: 14 days on / 7 days off,
- Transportation to camp will be provided depending on location
