Car Mechanic
Crank'D Auto is an Abbotsford, BC-based automotive shop specializing in auto repairs, custom wheels, tires, lighting, and lift kits, serving the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland, and is seeking to hire a mechanic to join their team of experts.
The mechanic will have the following responsibilities:
• Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
• Test automotive systems and components
• Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems
• Repair or replace mechanical units or components
• Test and adjust repaired systems to meet the manufacturer’s specifications
• Estimate parts and labour costs for maintenance and repairs
• Perform scheduled maintenance services
• Advise customers on work performed and any required future repairs
Qualifications and Requirements
• Completion of secondary school
• A minimum of 2–3 years of relevant work experience; prior training or certification is considered an asset
• Proficiency in English communication (verbal and written)
