Responsibilities

Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods

Prepare and cook special meals as instructed by the head chef



Supervise kitchen helpers and kitchen staff



Maintain inventory and records of food supplies and equipment



Ensure kitchen and food service areas are clean and sanitary



Assist with menu planning and food preparation



Ensure food quality and portion control standards are maintained



Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
