Title of position: Reservations Supervisor

Number of Positions: 1

Starting Immediately

Terms of Employment: Full Time Year Round

Wage: 25 – 26 /hour

Hours (each week): 32

Language Requirements: English

Job Duties:

<p>Coordinate, assign and review the work of lodge and other accommodation services clerks, reservation clerks and other travel and accommodations workers that deal with patrons </p><p>Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities with other work units or departments<br>Adjust reservation rates based on availability </p><p>Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports </p><p>Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies<br>Review reservation quotes prior to sending to patrons </p><p>Requisition supplies and materials as well as prepare order for submission and consideration</p><p>Ensure smooth operation of computer systems, equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work</p><p>May perform the same duties as workers supervised as well as things that need to be completed to ensure guests have the best experience possible. </p>

Job Requirements:

<p>Previous front desk experience at a resort is an asset <br>Comfortable answering phones, emails and any other correspondence needing a reply <br>Work well independently and part of a team <br>Amazing customer service ability <br>Strong retention of information is an asset to remember guest preferences <br>Computer skills are an asset <br>Previous experience taking payments through cash or card is an asset <br>Willing to work all days of the week including holidays <br>Able to start work early and work late if required <br>Excellent hygiene and presentable is required on shift</p><p></p>
