Work location:

Wage rate: $29.50 per hour, overtime will start after 40 hours per week

Eligibility:

·      Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

·      Related experience is an asset

·      English language

Job Duties:

·       Perform routine inspections and maintenance of marina facilities, docks, walkways, and common areas

·       Carry out minor repairs to plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and structural systems

·       Maintain cleanliness and safety of facilities, including power pedestals, utility connections, and shared amenities

·       Respond to maintenance requests from marina residents (liveaboard tenants)

·       Perform maintenance, including winterization and preventative upkeep

·       Operate and maintain basic tools and equipment

·       Welcome guests and visitors to the marina and ensure they are informed of facility rules, safety procedures, and restricted areas.

·       Monitor facilities for safety hazards and report major issues to management

·       Assist with waste management, lighting maintenance, and general grounds upkeep

·       Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and compliance with transport Canada
