The Singh Sidhu Family seeks 2 compassionate, dedicated Attendants for persons with disability to provide personalized care and assistance to a severely disabled person in their home. The employer is looking for 2 candidates to cover day and night shifts. The ideal candidates will assist with daily care for a person with disability, ensuring comfort, safety, and well-being.
Terms of employment: full-time, year-round work
Duties:
– Shop for food and household supplies
– Provide companionship
– Provide personal care
– Assist the client with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
– Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
– Launder clothing and household linens
– Prepare and serve nutritious meals
– Assist in feeding.
– Other related duties as required
Required skills:
Completion of Secondary School is required
A minimum of 7 months of experience working with people with disabilities, or completion of a training program in the field.
Ability to communicate in English
Wages: $ 24.50/hr. for 35 hours per week.
Working location: Near the Southdale Crescent and Peardonville Rd intersection, Abbotsford, BC.
