Description

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Provide direct care and guidance of child at home.

·       Plan and guide activities throughout the day, such as reading, games and outings.

·       Educate child on personal hygiene and social development.

·       Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment for child.

·       Handle child in emergency situations.

·       Communicate with parents about child’s progress.

·       Purchase groceries and household necessities as needed.

·       Pick up child from school and take child to after-school class as needed.

Required Qualifications and Experience: 

·       Language: English

·       Asset Language: Mandarin

·       Education: Secondary school graduation certificate

·       Work Experience: Related experience is an asset

·       Personal Suitability: Reliable, patient, organized

Term/Schedule: 35 hours per week

Work Location:  Employer’s home in Markham, ON
