Location: Surrey, BC, V3Z 0V3

Workplace Information: On site (no remote work option)

Salary: $19.00 per hour

Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Start Date: As soon as possible

Vacancy: 1 position

Language Requirement: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Work Setting:

The work must be completed at the employer’s home.

Optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents

  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children

  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development

  • Keep records of daily activities and children’s health information

  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home

  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children

  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals

  • Supervise and care for children

  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children
