Child care provider – private home (Permanent employment

Full time / 30 to 40 hours per Week)

Workplace information: On site

Salary:20.00 hourly (To be negotiated)

Start dateStarts as soon as possible

Target audience: Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children

Work site environment: Non-smoking, Scent free

Work setting: Employer's home. Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment. On site:  Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Tasks

Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home. Organize, activities such as games and outings for children. Prepare and serve nutritious meals. Supervise and care for children. Tend to emotional well-being of children. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

Job Requirements

Security and safety: Criminal record check

Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available

Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 to less than 7 months

Personal suitability: Client focus, Initiative, Judgement, Organized, Reliability, Time management, Honesty
