Bare Bones Fish & Chips Ltd. in Port Alberni is looking for Permanent, Full-time positions for one Restaurant General Manager to assist in running our growing firm and could join immediately.

Location: 4824 Johnston Road Port Alberni, BC, V9Y 5M1

Positions Available: 1 (One)

Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible.

Compensation: $38.46 per hour

Work hours: 30 hours/week

Terms: Permanent Full-Time

Language of Work: English

Job duties and Responsibilities:

• Establish goals and develop policies to improve operations, efficiency, and compliance with regulations.

• Authorize the creation of key departments, define senior roles, and oversee the recruitment and training of high-level staff.

• Allocate resources, establish financial controls, approve budgets, and oversee promotional campaigns to ensure profitability.

•  Identify, hire, and evaluate middle managers and key executives, ensuring alignment with company standards and objectives.

• Oversee the coordination of work across departments to ensure seamless operations and optimal customer service.

•  Act as the representative in negotiations with vendors, stakeholders, and in official functions, or delegate as needed.

• Regularly review operational performance, customer feedback, and financial metrics; report findings to leadership and implement corrective actions.

• Identify opportunities for innovation in processes, services, and customer experience; stay updated on industry trends to implement best practices.

Skills and Education:

1 to less than 2 years

Completion of Bachelor's Degree
