Position: Web developer

Employer: Invermere Glass Ltd.

Location: #3-109 industrial road #2, Invermere, BC, V0A 1K5

Salary: 36.72 to 38.40 hourly (To be negotiated) / 30 to 40 hours per Week

Terms of employment: Full time

Start date: Starts as soon as possible

Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Responsibilities:

Build, design, and maintain all websites and software applications
Write well designed, testable, efficient Web site related code
Use standard HTML/CSS practices to create website layout/user interface
Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
Maintain, expand, and scale company website
Develop and implement procedures for ongoing Web site revision
Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent
Troubleshoot and debug technical issues, perform code reviews, and evaluate code to ensure it is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems
Monitor website traffic and make adjustments; Identify problems uncovered by customer feedback, test and improve problems

Requirement:

A bachelor's degree, usually in computer science, computer programming, Web development or software engineering or completion of a college program in computer science or related field is usually required.
Experience as a computer programmer is usually required.
Proficiency in front-end and back-end development technologies.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
Excellent team collaboration abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
