Pocklington Building Systems Ltd. also known as Pocklington Building Systems, is hiring a roofer for roofing installation for a three-year contract with possibility of extension. We are located at 101-1002 Lynham Road, Whistler BC and we are the largest roofing company in the Sea to Sky region with safety a priority, providing stable employment for over 38 years.
Requirements to do the job:
– At least 2 years of previous work experience in the roofing industry
– Secondary school
Job duties:
– Install and repair metal roofs using hand tools
– Install sheet metal flashings
– Erect and install scaffolding and other working platforms
– Evaluate quantities of materials necessary for work sites
– Apply coatings to roof surfaces
What we offer:
– 40 hours of work per week
– $37 per hour

The work is physically demanding, and includes repetitive tasks, lifting heavy weights and bending. Majority of work is outside at heights, in noisy and dusty environments.
