We operate as a full-service meat processing and wholesale facility, in addition to a storefront offering product for retail and hot foods. Our specialty is premium beef, pork, and chicken, along with a wide variety of specialty imported and domestic food products.
At the heart of Eddystone Meats is our provincially licensed, freestanding meat plant, where our skilled team processes beef, veal, lamb, and pork products to supply restaurants, retailers, and food distributors across the communities we serve.

Job Summary: Successful candidates will work back-of-house at our meat processing plant to package processed meat products for wholesale and retail distribution.
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle, move, and organize packaged meat products and packaging supplies within the back-of-house and retail area;
- Portion, weigh, and place processed meat cuts into trays, vacuum bags, or containers according to order requirements and product standards;
- Feed packaging lines or sealing machines with prepared meat products and remove finished packages for boxing or storage;
- Assemble and prepare boxes, cartons, and other packaging materials for meat products;
- Inspect packaged meat for correct weight, labeling, and visible quality standards;
- Pack sealed meat products into cartons, cases, or pallets for shipment to wholesale, retail, and food service customers;
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of packaging areas, tools, and equipment in compliance with provincial food safety regulations; and
- Assist machine operators or butchers as needed by supplying materials, organizing products, or supporting workflow.
Minimum Skills Requirements:
- Completion of high school is required;
- Experience in food or meat packaging is an asset but not required;
- On-the-job training will be provided; and
- Must have strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team-based plus fast-paced environment.
