Position Info:
- Position: Dental Technician Assistant
- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $26.00 – $28.00/hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 2
- Work Location: 405-555 6th Street, New Westminster, BC V3L 5H1

Job Duties:
- Prepare dental models and moulds by using plaster with dental impressions
- Create bridges and denture bases by utilizing molten gold or metal alloys
- Pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures
- Complete the metal structure of dentures and polish them for a natural finish
- Make orthodontic bands using different types of metals such as gold, silver, stainless steel, or other similar materials
- Mould wax over denture set-up to form full contours of artificial gums
Job requirements:
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in dental technology industry are required
- Education: Completion of secondary school is required
- Language: English
