We are looking for an experienced Marine Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in our company’s mission to provide top-notch engineering services to our clients.

Duties:

  • oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of marine systems and equipment.
  • Conduct engineering analyses to optimize marine systems’ performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of marine projects.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of both rotating and static equipment as a crucial part of the turnaround process. Perform equipment overhauls when necessary to uphold and improve reliability. Utilize advanced tools such as condition monitoring and vibration diagnostics to achieve these goals effectively.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to marine equipment and systems.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and technological advancements in marine engineering.
  • Set performance goals, oversee the setting of offshore projects rates and monitor budget & revenue.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and environmental guidelines.
  • Provide technical expertise and support during marine-related projects.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and team members as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marine engineering or a related field.
  • A master’s degree in marine engineering or a related field. is an asset.
  • Knowledge of marine safety regulations ISM /ISPS codes & MLC regulations.
  • Relevant experience with offshore dredging, trenching and HDD methodologies.
  • At least three years of previous experience in people management,
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools like the PMS, SQMS computer systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
