Bangkok Bistro is looking for a manager in downtown Vancouver (on Davie St.)!

Position: Manager

Position Available: 1

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

Location: 1193 Davie Street, Vancouver, BC V6E 1N2

Working hours: 30-40 hour per week

Compensation: $36.60 per hour

Benefits:

• Paid vacation and sick days will be provided in accordance with the BC Employment Standards.
• Free meal during working hours will be provided.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations and ensure a smooth functioning of the restaurant
• Manage and supervise the staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
• Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
• Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints
• Organize and supervise shifts
• Keep up to date with industry trends and make necessary adjustments to stay competitive
• Hire and train new staff as needed

Requirements:  

• Language: English
• Education: Completion of secondary school
• Experience: A minimum 3 years of food service industry experience including 1 year of supervisory experience in the food service industry.
