Kosoo Restaurant is looking for F/T Chef.
Position Info:
- Position: Chef
- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $20~$24/hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 1
- Work Location: 832 Cardero Street, Vancouver BC V6G 2G5
Benefits:
- 10days paid vacation per year or 4% vacation pay
Job Duties:
- Plan and direct food preparation within the restaurant
- Estimate food requirements, and requisition food and kitchen supplies
- Manage and supervise activities of cooks
- Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods
- Plan menus and ensure food meets quality of standards
- Recruit and hire cooks and kitchen staffs
- Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory
- Train kitchen staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
Job requirements:
- Experience: 2~3 years of experience in commercial food preparation as a chef are required.
- Education: Completion of Secondary School is required.
- Language: English
