Job Title: Jewelry Department Supervisor (NOC: 62010)

Employer: Westshore Jewelry

Location: 730 Goldstream Avenue Victoria, BC V9B 2X3

Wage: 24 /hr for 35 hrs per week

Job Requirements:

 

Languages

·      English

 

Education

·      Completion of secondary education

 

Experience

·      At least 1 year to less than 2 years of work experience as a sales supervisor or any related field.

 

Duties:

·      Monitor sales activities to ensure that customers receives satisfactory service.

·      Assign staff to specific duties.

·      Instruct staff on how to handle difficult and complicated sales

·      Complete fine jewelry inventory processes such as final end of day count and beginning of day count.

·      Train and coach new associates.

·      Supervise and coordinate sales staff and cashiers to ensure smooth operations.

·      Assigns sales workers to duties and prepare work schedules

·      Authorize payments and oversee the return of merchandise as necessary.

·      Resolve issues that may arise including customer request, complaints, and supply shortages.

·      Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters to inform decision-making.

·      May perform the same duties as workers supervised to support the team as needed.
