Tomo Sushi Togo in Nanaimo, BC is looking for a skilled and experienced Full-time, Permanent Chef.
Conditions
Position: Chef (Full-Time, Permanent position)
Wage: $28.00 – $37.00 per hour (Wages to be determined based on experience and skills)
Working hours: 30 ~ 40 hours per week (Shifted Schedule)
Vacation: 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% gross salary

Requirements
Education: Completion of secondary school
Experience: 2 years or more of experience

Job Duties
Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales and inventory
Analyze operating costs and other data
Supervise activities of specialist chefs, cooks and other kitchen workers
Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods
Requisition food and kitchen supplies
Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
Estimate food requirements and food and labour costs
Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
