Job duties:
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing;
- Provide companionship;
- Administer medications and provide bedside care;
- Assist in regular exercise, e.g. walk;
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals;
- Feed or assist in feeding; and
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
Skills requirements:
First Aid & CPR certification is required
Preferred, but not mandatory:
College or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year: Home Health Aide/Home Attendant/Personal Support Worker is preferred
Proven work experience in caregiving or home care setting is preferred
