Position Info:
- Position: Early Childhood Educator
- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $20.00~$23.00/hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 2
- Work Location: 145 Ravine Drive, Port Moody, BC V3H 4W3

Job Duties:
- Develop child-care programs that support and encourage children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
- Ensure the daycare equipment and environment are maintained to protect the health, security, and well-being of children
- Provide opportunities for children to express their creativity through a variety of activities
- Monitor children’s behavioural problems or progress and prepare reports for parents or supervisor
- Assist children in developing appropriate eating, dressing, and toilet habits
- Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and planning crafts
- Attend staff meetings to discuss children’s development and difficulties
Job requirements:
- Experience: Experience is an asset
- Education: College Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education is required
- Certificate: First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate and E.C.E. Certificate
- Language: English
