1062080 Alberta Ltd dba Bigstone Esso is looking for a full time permanent head cashier to join the team as soon as possible. 

 

Job details 

Location: SW 25-80-25-W4 Wabasca, AB T0G 2K0 

Hourly rate:  $20.00 – $24.00 / hour (To be negotiated)

Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time (30 – 40 hours / week)

Vacancies: 1

Start date: As soon as possible

Personal Suitability/Capability: Attention to detail, Accuracy

Work setting: Retail business

Benefit: 4 percent of total wages for vacation pay

 

Job requirements 

Languages: English 

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate 

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years 

 

Job Duties 

• Submitting reports on incoming and outgoing cash, debit, and credit transactions

• Tallying up sales totals at the end of the day

• Providing change for cashiers and ensuring each till is supplied with enough money for the shift

• Making sure that the store is well-staffed during busy periods to avoid long wait times for customers

• Being present on the shop floor to assist with customer questions, complaints, and comments

• Training new cashiers

• Liaising with management to ensure operations run smoothly

• Authorizing payments by cheque

• Authorizing return of merchandise
