Description
Food Service Supervisor
- Permanent full time Food Service Supervisor : 1 position.
- Start wage is $19.04/hour.
- 35-40 hours per week. Working time would be days, mornings, evenings, nights and weekends.
Job Duties:
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food;
- Ensure food service and quality control;
- Address customers' complaints or concerns;
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage;
- Prepare and submit reports;
- Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres;
- Supervise and check assembly of trays;
- Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys, Establish work schedules.
Requirements:
- High school diploma is required.
- Must have at least 2 years related experience. Equivalence considered.
Kitchen Helper
- Permanent full time Kitchen Helper: 2 positions.
- Start wage is $16.95/hour.
- 35-40 hours per week. Working time would be days, evenings, nights and weekends.
Job Duties:
- Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware;
- Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand; Scour pots and pans;
- Package take-out food; Prepare, heat and finish simple food items;
- Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas;
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash;
- Sharpen kitchen knives;
- Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors;
- Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit.
Requirements:
- High School diploma is required. Equivalence considered.
- Experience an asset.
