21 Century Food Ltd. is seeking full-time food service supervisors.  

 

Position:

Food service supervisor  

 

Number of Positions:

2  

 

Terms of employment:

Full-time, Permanent  

 

Educational and Experience Requirements:

  • Completion of Secondary school is required

 

Job requirements:

  • Completion of a college program in food service, hospitality or related discipline OR
  • Minimum 2 years of previous experience in food service industry

OR

  • A combination of education and experience

 

Language Requirements:

English  

 

Start date:

ASAP  

 

Wage:

$20.00/hour  

 

Hours:

30-40 hours per week  

 

Benefits:

– Tips – 4% vacation pay – Dental coverage (after six months of full-time employment) – Bonus depending on sales performance

 

Job Duties:

  • Supervise, co-ordinate and direct daily operations
  • Monitor and ensure food and service meet quality control standards, and feedback kitchen and counter staff when needed
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  • Ensure all care areas are clean and tidy
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, safety procedures, and food preparation
  • Address customers’ complains or concerns, and solve problems when needed

  Work Location: Your primary location will be one of the following, but you may be required to work at/supervise another location depending on needs:

  1. Edokko Nigiri Sushi: #120-3679 Westminster Hwy, Richmond, BC V7C 5V2
  2. Takeya Sushi: #17-8671 No.1 Road, Richmond, BC, V7C 1V2

 

*These two locations are commutable with a travel time of 5 minutes by car, 10 minutes by bus or bicycle, and 30 minutes on foot.   Company information: 21 Century Food Ltd.
