Position: Food Service Supervisor

Number of job vacancy: 1

Working Hours: 40hrs per week (overtime wage will be applied after 8 hours per day / 40 hours per week)

Wage: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour

Benefits: 4% of each gross payroll

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Main duties

  • Oversees the daily food service in all areas of kitchen and dining room
  • Supervise and check the assembly of food plates and delivery of foods
  • Handle shift schedules for food services workers and assign them tasks on daily basis
  • Coordinate frequent workplace inspections
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service workers
  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
  • Participates in menu preparation, ensuring menus are updated and recipes are revised
  • Ensuring all equipment is clean and maintained
  • Communicate positively and enthusiastically to the restaurant patrons and address their issues promptly
  • Ensure that each employee follows safety regulations and procedures
  • Train staff
  • Ensure food service and quality control

Requirements

  • Completion of secondary school
  • Flexible availability for weekends & holidays
  • Food safe level 1
  • 2-3 years of experience in food preparation/service is required
