Blaze Gourmet Burgers Ltd. dba Blaze Gourmet Burgers in Vancouver, BC is looking for skilled and experienced Full-time, Permanent Food Service Supervisors.

Conditions:

• Position: Food Service Supervisor (NOC 62020)
• Status: Full-Time, Permanent position
• Wage: $20.45/hour
• Working hours: minimum 30 hours per week, 5 days per week
• Ability to do shift work according to the work schedule
• Vacation: 4% of gross salary
• Number of Positions: 1

Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school
• Minimum 3 years of experience in food preparation or service, OR Completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management, or related discipline is required
• Language: English is required

Job Duties:

• Supervise and coordinate restaurant staff activities.
• Establish a work schedule
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Estimate and order supplies and ingredients
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Perform cashier duties, including taking orders and processing payments as needed.
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Cater to off-site events as needed
