Salary: $14.000/hour

Term of employment: Full-time (30 hours to 40 hours per week) and permanent position

 

Benefits: 

  • 3 weeks paid vacation after one year of employment or 5.77%;

Job summary:

Robin’s Donuts specializes in offering the finest coffee, along with other specialty drinks such as iced cappuccino. Robin’s also offers all-day breakfast and fresh, handmade baked goods prepared onsite, including donuts, muffins, and other baked goods. The store is looking for a food counter attendant to help with food preparation in the kitchen.

 

This vacancy is open to invite Canadian citizens, permanent residents, newcomers, refugees, youths, and others.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Welcome customers warmly, take accurate orders, and address any inquiries regarding our menu items;
  • Employ manual and electric appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim food ingredients, maintaining consistent quality and safety standards;
  • Operate kitchen equipment, including grills, deep fryers, ovens, and dispensers, to prepare fast food items such as sandwiches, hamburgers, fries, salads, ice cream dishes, and milkshakes;
  • Utilize cooking equipment to fry, grill, bake, and assemble menu items accurately and efficiently;
  • Portion, assemble, and wrap prepared food items for service to customers, ensuring uniformity in portion sizes and appealing presentation;
  • Package take-out food securely and efficiently;
  • Operate equipment to prepare hot beverages, such as coffee and tea specialties, according to our recipes and customer preferences;
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels in refrigerators, salad bars, and dispensers, restocking items as needed to ensure availability.

 

Qualifications:

  • Highschool completion;
  • Previous experience in a kitchen setting is an asset;
  • Ability to walk and stand for long period;
  • Physically fit to carry up to 50lbs.
