Food and beverage servers perform some or all the following duties:
- Offering a warm welcome to customers and directing them to the seating areas
- Taking customer orders and delivering food and beverages to them
- Making menu recommendations, answering questions and sharing additional information with restaurant patrons
- Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses
- Present bill to patrons and accept payment by using POS software order system
