Bella Coola Valley Inn is located in Bella Coola town and fully serves food and beverage. Now we are looking for a food and beverage server who are willing to become our valued team members!

Employer: Bremer Canada Enterprises Ltd. (o/a Bella Coola Valley Inn)

Position: 3 Full-time Food and Beverage Server

Working Location: 441 Mackenzie Street, PO Box 949, Bella Coola, BC. V0T 1C0

Wage: $18.00 per hour and 4% of the gross income for paid vacation per year.

Work Hours: 30~40 hours per week.

Start date of Employment: ASAP

Responsibilities

– Present menu and provide detailed information when asked.

– Greet and escort customers to their tables.

– Inform customers about the day’s specials.

– Take accurate food and drinks orders, using POS ordering software, order slips or by memorization.  

– Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff.

– Serve food and drink orders.  

– Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area.

– Deliver checks and collect bill payments.

– Follow all relevant health department regulations.

– Provide excellent customer service to guests.

– Address customers’ complaints or concerns.  

– Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs.

– Assist guests with special needs.   

Requirements

– Education: secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

– Completion of a one-or two-year apprenticeship program or college or vocational school courses would be an advantage

– Will train

– Experience an asset.

– Ability to follow all sanitation procedures.

– Good communication skills.
