Farm Hug Thai Ltd. o/a Busaba Thai Cafe is seeking a fulltime Cook (Thai Food) to join in our team.
Job Description/Duties:
- Prepare and cook complete authentic Thai food
- Supervise kitchen helpers in preparation and handling of food
- Ensure quality of food and determine size of food portions
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas
- Participate in planning menus and daily special in a team
- Monitor food stocks and kitchen supplies
- May train new kitchen staffs
Education:
- Completion of secondary school
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in cooking Thai cuisine/foods professionally in a commercial kitchen is required
- Ability to perform all the above duties
- More than 3 years of work experience in a commercial kitchen and passionate commitment to food industry work
Language:
- Communication skills in English
Compensation:
- $17.00 to 17.50/hour, 35 to 40hrs/week, 4% vacation pay
- Overtimes are paid at 1,5 rate for hours exceeding 40 hours in any given week
