The Bruce Hotel is a renowned luxury CAA/AAA 5 Diamond establishment committed to providing an exquisite experience for our guests. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in guest rooms and public spaces. With a focus on delivering exceptional service, the Executive Housekeeper will lead a team to ensure a pristine environment for our discerning guests.
Job Requirements:
Professional, articulate, friendly, and punctual.
Possesses and exhibits the drive to provide exceptional service with a high level of attention to detail.
Flexible hours are required (evenings, weekends, holidays).
Must have 2-4 years of supervisory experience in housekeeping.
Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 50 lbs.
Professional appearance appropriate for a luxury hotel.
Skills:
Able to work at a rapid pace while maintaining attention to detail; ability to multitask.
Skilled in time management.
Must work well in a team environment.
High level of communication skills to provide pleasant interaction with team members and guests.
Managing and developing team members to achieve team objectives, and lead by example.
Follow and execute training as required for new and existing team members.
Supervise and organize shifts. Using best judgment, make decision in lieu of management as required.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Understanding and adhering to company policies regarding work shifts, client possessions, and privacy.
Performing and overseeing duties such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning windows, scouring bathrooms, sanitizing surfaces, changing sheets and towels, managing laundry, and maintaining all areas in a neat and tidy condition.
Following all company safety and security procedures.
Ensuring compliance with 5 Diamond Standards, fulfilling all cleaning requirements as per SOPs.
Properly stocking storage areas with toiletries, distributing linen, towels, and room supplies using wheeled carts or by hand, and keeping equipment clean, organized, and safe.
Restocking pantries with glassware and complimentary items.
Keeping an inventory of supplies and equipment and informing the immediate Supervisor of shortages.
Reporting any accidents or problems occurring during cleaning services to the supervisor on duty/manager.
Responding to guest queries and requests.
Monitoring guest laundry bags.
Storing all dirty laundry following company policy.
Inspecting mattresses, furniture, fixtures, and appliances in rooms, public, and staff areas.
Addressing housekeeping problems such as spills, broken glasses, and delivering requested items to guest rooms.
Organizing and restocking the cart at the end of the shift.
Immediately report safety hazards and issues found in rooms, public, and staff areas to the Maintenance Department.
Observing and reporting damage to hotel property.
Performing additional duties as required.
