NISHEL BUTCHER SHOP LTD. in Port Coquitlam, BC is looking for a Retail and Wholesale Meat Cutter.
Job Position: Retail and Wholesale Meat Cutter
Number of Openings: 1

Job Description:
– Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting
– Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat
– Wrap and package prepared meats
– Remove bones from meat
– Weigh meats for sale
– Grind meats and slice meats using powered grinders and slicing machines
– Inspect the quality of meat expiry dates and ensure proper product rotation
– Ensure the maintenance of equipment, displays and work area
– Comply with government health and safety standards and occupational health and safety standards.
Job Requirement:
– Completion of secondary school is required.
– Experience an asset.
Term: Permanent, Full-Time (30-40 hours per week)
Wage: $23 per hour
Benefit: 4% of salary as vacation pay
